"String" Theory

For Rising 3rd through 12th Graders

In this course, students will either learn a new string instrument or improve their playing and understanding of one throughout the week.  Students will learn fundamentals of music theory as well as string playing techniques. Students must bring their own instruments. Any instrument in working condition will be acceptable, but Mr. Wald's specialty is with string instruments that don't require bowing. Recommended instruments are guitar, ukulele, mandolin, banjo, dobro, and bass, but any instrument will be great as long as it is functional.
