This year, for student/faculty safety, all of our Summer at Springs courses will be conducted online via Zoom. Guided by our talented Indian Springs faculty, courses will consist of a combination of synchronous and asynchronous work, and many will be aimed at readiness for the 2020–21 school year.
Most students entering the 10th and 11th grades enroll in one of the school's Advanced Placement history courses. While the subject content varies, the course structures and expectations are similar. This summer course offers rising sophomores preparation for AP European History and rising juniors preparation for AP United States History. Content covered will include the structure of the AP exam, the specific skill areas assessed by the College Board, an overview of AP prep resources, and the opportunity to take mock AP assessments in a workshop setting and peer review them with classmates. This course is ideal for anyone without prior AP History experience or who feel the need to brush up on their skills.
